August 3, 2026
Dear Kenderton Families,
Welcome back! We are thrilled to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Kenderton. We hope you have had a restful summer and are ready for an exciting year ahead. Our team has been working hard to prepare the building and the curriculum, and we cannot wait to see all of our students back in our hallways and classrooms.
- Please mark your calendars as school officially resumes on Monday, August 24, 2026. The school day begins promptly at 8:50 A.M., and the school yard will open at 8:30 A.M. to allow students plenty of time to arrive and line up.
- Looking ahead into September, we invite all families to join us for our annual Back to School Night on September 10, 2026, which is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and learn about the goals for the year.
- As you begin your back-to-school shopping, please note that student uniforms should be purchased through French Toast at www.frenchtoast.com using our official school code, QS61D3I. We highly encourage you to place your orders early to avoid any shipping delays. On a great note for your budget, please do not purchase any school bags or classroom supplies this year. Kenderton will be providing all necessary supplies, as well as the required clear book bags, directly to our students.
- We have a wonderful Resource Fair coming up on August 17th from noon to 3pm where parents can find health screening info, uniform info, raffles, giveaways, free haircuts and braids and MUCH MORE! Learn more HERE
We are also focused on student wellness and consistency this year. Our Healthy School Initiative continues, ensuring that physical wellness and good nutritional habits remain a core part of our daily environment. Furthermore, we want to emphasize the importance of excellent attendance. This year, we are offering an exciting attendance incentive trip to Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park, valued at $55.00. To qualify for this end-of-year trip, students must have no more than 10 absences for the entire school year. We will be organizing various fundraisers throughout the year to help reduce this cost for our qualifying families.
Finally, a strong school community relies on the partnership between our staff and our families. We are actively seeking a volunteer for each room to serve as the Classroom Parent. This person will act as a vital liaison between the individual class and our main parent group, helping us stay connected and supported. If you are interested in volunteering, or if you have any questions before the first day, please reach out to the school and all of us at Kenderton School look forward to welcoming students back to school in person on August 24th! As always, please feel free to reach out to me at 215-400-8340 with any questions.
Warmest Regards,
Deanna Bredell
Principal
